Career Design through Serious Play – Magdalene Loh

Enjoy this one (1) of three (3) Lightning Talks from the Fall 2021 Town Hall Meeting in the Transformative Play Initiative Event Series: “Career Design through Serious Play” by Magdalene Loh! Lightning talks are meant to spark conversation in our group discussions at Town Hall events, with the goal of inspiring networking and collaborations.

Description:This session explores how roleplaying has been used to help students and young working professionals to better understand the world of jobs, and then to build on their newly found insights to design new pathways for themselves in their future careers.

Presenter bio:Magdalene Loh is a corporate innovator by day and a game designer by night. One of the common threads that runs through these is her passion for helping others optimise their potential and find their unique Wit Grit Fit in life. Having seen firsthand both the disruption and also opportunities that Industry 4.0 brings, Magdalene is a strong advocate of actively shaping one’s career. The Career Design Simulation (https://witgritfit.com/career-design-…) she has put together for this purpose has been played by thousands of students and working professionals in Singapore and America.
